
John Delavigne is the President of the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. John moved to Los Alamitos in 2019 with his wife Jessica and two children for the small town feel of Los Alamitos. John holds a Bachelors Degree in History from Loyola Marymount University and a Law degree from Loyola Law School. He currently works for a large Land Use/Real Estate firm in Cypress, primarily in the energy/transportation field.

Shelley Hasselbrink serves as the Treasurer for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. She joined the City Council in 2014 and served as Mayor in 2017 and 2022. Shelley has been a resident of Los Alamitos since 1993 and with her husband, Kurt, has raised two sons. Shelley has a Bachelor of Science from University of Redlands and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Currently, she is the Controller for Mason West, a seismic engineering and fabricating company headquartered in Placentia with offices throughout California. Her 35-year career has included positions at CBS Television & WTC Consulting, and CI Solutions giving her expertise in administration, sales, business development and finance that give her the skills to make fiscally responsible decisions for Los Alamitos.

Dan Gallagher is the District 1 Representative for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. Dan was raised in Paramount and met his wife Janet of 50+ years in high school, worked in Alaska and San Salvadore for oil rigs, owned a drive thru dairy, and worked for Darigold for 25 years. He moved to Los Alamitos in 2020 for the small town feel and has two kids, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Corey Lakin is the District 3 Representative for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. Corey is a Parks, Recreation, and Community Services professional with more than 25 years of experience, including 10 years in Los Alamitos. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Administration from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and a Master of Public Administration Degree from California State University Long Beach, providing him the education and experience with events, fundraising, and programming to improve and enrich the lives of those he serves. Corey and his wife Kerran have two sons and has lived in Los Alamitos since 2019.

Debbie Kent is the District 4 Representative for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. She is a Los Alamitos Unified retired middle school teacher. She has served on the Youth Center Board for 32 years. She is also the Secretary and docent for the Los Alamitos Museum. She is also part of the Serve Los Al Committee. Debbie has one daughter and has lived in Los Alamitos since 1978.

Malena Madrid is the Business Representative for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation representing Epson America Inc. Malena is a Group Product Manager at Epson America, for the Latin region. She has been with Epson for over 23 years and is a Graduate of La Verne University. She appreciates the diversity of her job and her community. She has been a resident of Los Alamitos since 2017 and enjoys supporting and contributing to the well-being of the City and its residents. She has a teenage daughter and loves taking walks with her and her Yorkie.

Tamra Smalewitz is the Business Representative for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation representing Southland Credit Union. Tamra is a Business and Campus Development Officer, throughout the LA and Orange County area. She is a Graduate of Colorado State University. She grew up in the area and graduated from Los Alamitos High School and enjoys giving back to the community she attended school and now works in.
